A Royal Standard Fine Bone China Souvenir Trinket Dish Set (2 of 4), England
Circa 1950s–1960sA matched group of two fine bone china souvenir trinket dishes from an originally issued set of four, produced by Royal Standard, England. Each scalloped-edge dish is transfer-printed in monochrome with iconic London architectural views, including Windsor Castle, Houses of Parliament, and Westminster Abbey. Executed in the restrained black-to-sepia palette characteristic of mid-20th-century British souvenir ware.
The reverse of each bears a printed factory mark reading “Souvenir / Royal Standard / Fine Bone / England” beneath a crown motif, consistent with period production. One example retains its original Selfridges retail label.
Each dish measures approximately 4½ inches in diameter.
Condition:
Overall good vintage condition. One dish shows a fine, stable hairline crack extending inward from the rim at approximately the 7–8 o’clock position, with no displacement, chipping, or visible separation on the reverse. The second dish appears free of cracks.
