A beautiful antique Victorian, cut glass inkwell with a faceted hinged lid, which opens on a brass hinge.

Deliberately heavy so as to make it spill proof with a beautiful, cut glass base with chamfered angles, which really catches the light and appears through all the faces.

The condition is very good with no chips or cracks, some light scratches.
This would look great on a vintage or contemporary desk and makes a great paperweight...
